JAKARTA | KBA – The innovation and success of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan in building the city of Jakarta seems to be widely recognized by the Indonesian people.
The name Anies Baswedan has often been mentioned and praised by regional heads in Indonesia, even regional heads abroad for his success in building the capital city.

In the inauguration ceremony, initially, the Governor of North Sumatra, Edy Rahmayadi, asked residents to help develop the North Sumatra region.
“What should we do, we are all given by God. There is the sea, there are mountains,” said Edy at the North Sumatra Governor’s official residence during the event.
He admitted that it was appropriate to discuss the development issue with the APTISI management. According to Edy, it is impossible to talk about the development of North Sumatra with Singaporeans.
“With who else to talk about this? Is the person from Singapore to lead North Sumatra. Or we will choose from the regions first to lead, when it is finished, we will return it to us,” he said.
Then, Edy said it was impossible to ask DKI Governor Anies Baswedan for help to build North Sumatra.
“I don’t need to talk abroad. I borrowed it from Jakarta first, Anies. You lead first, when it’s done, you return it to me. But it’s not like that,” said Edy.
Edy also discussed the problem of handling population growth in North Sumatra.
“With this meeting, it is hoped that good communication can be established, and can resolve this problem. Because our population growth is very rapid and this is also a demographic bonus that we must manage,” he said.
Edy said the thing that must be prepared to build North Sumatra is quality human resources. For this reason, he invited Aptis to work together to prepare quality human resources.
“What we have to prepare for North Sumatra is ready-to-use human resources. But we also have to think about their platform after graduation, and we have to build that foundation from now on,” concluded Edy Rahmayadi.
