The visit has started, Friday (14/1) until January 26, 2022, for full two weeks. However, JIS’ house warming is carried out in stages, because JIS is still in the development stage and Jakarta is still alert for awareness of Covid-19 pandemic.
JAKARTA | KBA – PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) as the holder of the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) project belonging to the DKI Jakarta Regional Owned Enterprise (BUMD), opens opportunities for the community such as officers or administrators of the Residents Association (RW), Rukun Tetangga (RT), and administrators to witness themselves the JIS Stadium directly first-hand.
“We are open for general public visits, in the priority areas around JIS first, hopefully later it will be evenly distributed and there will be a 2021 International Youth Championship match, because it was sterilized because there were no visits,” said JIS Project Manager PT Jakpro Arry Wibowo to KBA News via short message, in Jakarta, Saturday, January 15, 2022.
The visit has started today, Friday, January 14 to 26, 2022, for two weeks. The visit will be carried out in stages, because JIS is still under construction and still in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. So that all people can feel the standard stadium of the World Football Federation Association (FIFA) freely.
“So that all people can feel it, we will open this visit by sharing a schedule of visits for the community, so that people can feel that everything is from the local community and followed by other communities. I hope everyone can enjoy this new facility,” he said.
The opportunity for this visit was directed by the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan, so that the public could feel the echo of the same information to the lowest roots.
“Because of the Governor’s enthusiasm for development, the same information can be felt from the bottom of the community,” he said.
However, when visiting JIS, continued Arry, not all areas could be visited by the public. Because there is still work on the project that can take place.
“Therefore, we have divided the green zone (without project PPE) which can be visited and the red zone (must be complete project PPE) which cannot be visited due to security reasons,” said Arry.
Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) is the stadium that Jakarta and Indonesia residents have been waiting for. JIS Stadium, which has an area of 22.1 hectares, is the first stadium in Indonesia to use hybrid turf grass on its land, which is a combination of organic grass and synthetic grass.
The JIS Stadium, which has a capacity of 82 thousand spectators, is currently being completed ahead of the soft launch, which is planned to be held in February 2022. (kba)
