Depok is a neighboring city with Jakarta and contributes in sending its people to work in the Capital City of Jakarta. Those people watch how Jakarta under the reign of Governor Mr. Anies Baswedan works hard to transform the city into a modern habitat for its citizens and to become the pride of the nation.
One of those migrant workers expresses her admiration and wishes Mr. Anies Baswedan will become President in the coming elections in 2024, so that these talents will be shared nationally, she wishes.
JAKARTA | KBA – The Provincial of Jakarta Governor, Mr.Anies Baswedan has managed to organize the capital city like a foreign country. Such as transportation that has been integrated, the sidewalks are widened, the pedestrian bridge (JPO) is getting better, parks, and so on.
Volunteer Buddy Anies Ms. Arini Soemardi said that Jakarta is now getting better. A lot has changed in Jakarta from before. He admitted that he regretted having changed the domicile of the Identity Card (KTP) from DKI Jakarta to Depok, West Java.
“I have an ID card from 2006 in Depok, previously I had a Jakarta ID card. The important thing is that I feel sorry,” Arini told KBA News when contacted in Jakarta, Tuesday, January 11, 2022.
Arini as well as a volunteer for Buddy Annies owns a Kindergarten (TK) which she started from scratch while living in Jakarta. Then she moved domicile to Depok, West Java because she wanted to expand the world of early education.
She soon received information that the kindergarten teacher where she used to work has now received social welfare benefits from the Provincial Government of Jakarta. The reason is that since the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan, PAUD teachers have begun to be paid attention to by the Government.
“It turns out that my old teachers received social welfare benefits from the city government. Then what can they do, even though they are non-PNS, they are just PAUD teachers, their education is non-formal. The City Government in Jakarta is very concerned. So there is an incentive for the teacher. I said thank God. That’s good. Yes, the amount is pretty good, so that’s what I feel the most because the previous government didn’t have allowances like this,” she said.
Not only allowances, according to him, transportation in Jakarta is now better and integrated. To make public transportation users no longer complicated and spend a lot of money.
“I have tried that integrated transportation is very convenient,” she said.
This Depok resident admitted that she often travels using public transportation to Jakarta. As long as public transportation is integrated, she admits that it’s like going to Jakarta in a foreign country.
“I am a Depok resident who visits Jakarta very often every week because Jakarta’s various affairs have changed a lot. It’s well-organized, moreover, the public transportation is good. I feel like I’m abroad, even though I’m in Jakarta. Because the roads are clean, the sidewalks are good,” she said.
She admits that she is not the only one who feels that DKI Jakarta is now neatly organized.
“Colleagues and other residents also said the same. Plus, Jakarta currently has many good photo spots. We enjoy it.”
She hopes that what is felt by the citizens of DKI can also be felt by citizens of all countries of Indonesia. She hopes that in 2024 Anies Baswedan will become President. So that it can be applied in areas beyond Jakarta.
“I hope that what the residents of DKI feel right now, will be the same feeling for all Indonesian citizens if Pak Anies becomes President, God willing. So it will also be applied throughout Indonesia so that justice, prosperity, and welfare are equally felt by all citizens,” she concludes. (kba)
